New Delhi: Playing for the Indian Team is a dream of every Cricketer and getting a human award from the first match in the first match is a feeling that exceeds imagination.
The extraordinary bowling performance by Harshal Patel’s debut (2/25) against New Zealand in the second T20i in Ranchi took him to the Elite Cricketers India League, which registered their names in the notebook in the first match.
So far, seven Indian players, namely Dinesh Karthik, Subramaniam Badrinath, Pragyan Ojha, Axar Patel, Barinder Sran, Navdeep Saini and now Harshal Patel has won their Man-of-match award in their T20i debut game.
While Karthik, Axar Patel and Saini are still playing international cricket, Badrinath, Ojha and Sran not in action now.
Karthik, which debuted against South Africa in December 2006, was the first Cricketer India to achieve this achievement.
It is the first international T20 between India and South Africa.

Known for his perfect bowling leg-spin, Ojha got a match in the T20i debut against Bangladesh on June 6, 2009.

Badrinath.
Badrinath has a good IPL 4 season and was chosen in T20i forces for West Indies tours in 2011.
Against West Indies, Badrinath scored 43 from 37 balls to help India beat the hosts with 16 ran and got the match people.
It was the first and last match of Badrinath because he was not chosen in the next tour.
Spinner Axar Patel also has features in the list of Indian players who won the Man-of-match award on their T20i debut.
Axar made his debut against Zimbabwe in 2015.
India made 178 Run and Zimbabwe could only manage 124 runs belonging to Bowling Brilliant Axar.
He took three of the goal which gave only 17 walks.
Another Indian player who won the award at his T20i debut was SRAN.
Against Zimbabwe, he gave 10 runs and got four numbers.
The bowling helps the Indian bowl of Zimbabwe only for 99 runs.
India is easily chasing the target.
Before Harshal, Cricketer India Navdeep Saini won an award at his T20i debut.
He achieved this achievement against West Indies on August 3, 2019.
Saini, in the four overs, gave 17 walks and took three goals who helped India limit West Indies to 95 Run.
India pursues the target to win the match comprehensively.
