Prayagraj: The Office of the Development Authority Prayagraj (PDA), located in Indira Bhawan in a civilian queue, will shift to Lala Lajpat Rai Road, Mumfordanj.
Not only PDA will have a separate office in a new premise, but the city’s first five-star hotel will also come there.
Built at a cost of rs 250-crore, campus area of 14,500 square meters will have two buildings.
PDA has started the process of selecting agencies for the construction of office buildings, hotels with ‘build, have, operate, and transfer (boot)’.
“We have invited ‘expressions of interest’ (EOI) from famous agents for ambitious projects, which will be built in a plot of land located on Jalan Lala Lajpat Rai adjacent to Stanley Road.
Following this, not only the PDA will have its own office , but the city will also have its first five star hotel, “said Deputy Chairperson of PDA Arvind Kumar Chauhan.
“The construction of the office building and the hotel will be operated by boot.
The layout will be prepared by smart buildings and green architecture with an estimated cost of 250-crore Rs,” said EOI issued by the PDA.
This site is strategically located in Lajpat Rai Mark 80m which connects Stanley Road.
There is a school within 2 km, a train station within 5 km, a 15 km airport and a hospital and gas station within 1 km.
Detailed design, detailed project reports, etc., are available with PDAs, which have involved international architects, transaction advisory consultants and project management for the project.
This project is very important for the country and develops Prayagraj as a tourism center and legacy logistics center.
The addition of a 5 star hotel complex, the first of its kind in city based on international design, will be a landmark of this heritage city.
