Jaipur: Pacer Yash Thakur got a breakthrough on time for him for Wicket Haul as Vidarbha defeated Tripura by 34 walking to enter the quarter-finals of the Hazare Vijay trophy here on Sunday.
Vidarbha will now face Saurashtra in the quarter-finals on December 22.
Batting first, Vidarbha riding in half a century by Yash Rathod (57 of 63 balls) and Atharva Taide (51 OFF 58 Balls) to send a decent 258/7 on the board and then divide the opposition to 224 in 49.2 Overs even though 96 runs opening stand up.

Chasing 259, Tripura left for the beginning with the opening Bishal Ghosh (44) and the watershed added 96 for the first goal.

But then Thakur attacked quick succession to turn on the match.
