Kalaburagi: Two children died after they fell into the open well while playing at the location of the Ananthalingeshwara temple in Gobburwardi Village in Kamalapur Taluk Kalaburagi Regency on Monday.
The deceased is Pranathi, 4, and Shivakumar, 2, children from Sharanappa, physically challenging men who cannot walk without help sticks.
When Sharanappa tried to save the children, he would also sink.
But people were present near the well, who did not pay attention to the children who dodged, save him after hearing his SOS call.
But it was too late when they realized that his children also drowned.
The police have not confirmed that the incident was an accident or planned murder case.
