Hubballi: Dharwad District Administration has started 24×7 OPDS and Fever Clinics in eight places in Hubballi-Dharwad to curb the covid-19 infection level that has reached 17.88%.
Ops 24×7 is in the District Hospital, KimS, Railway Hospital, Chitaguppi Hospital, ESI Hospital, and at the Covid Care Center in Hubballi Anjuman Hostel, Dr.
Br Ambedkar Community Hall of Sangolli Rulanna Nagar and Morarji Desai Residential School, Anchatgeri, Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil said many people who were symptomatic and without symptoms roam the city, spreading the virus.
District administration has started the OPDS clinic and fever so that timely tests, treatment, and drugs can be given to people who are suspected of all the time.
In addition, the number of counter opens in civil hospitals has also been enhanced for non-covid patients.
Patil told TOI: “We started the 24×7 Swab Collection Center for three days ago and now we have also started 24×7 OPDs and Fever Clinics in eight places to encourage more people with symptoms to undergo a test and immediately undergo.
This OPD is intended for people Infected people and those who suspect they have an infection.
“The fever clinic all the time has been arranged at KimS, District Civil Hospital in Dharwad, Chitaguppi Hospital, Railway Hospital, and HR.
The hospital where the Swab sample will be collected, he said.
Patil said the number of Counter Collection Swab has increased in district hospitals, KimS and other centers in the city to avoid crowding.
There are 58 Counter Collections Now.
Five vehicles are dedicated to swab collections and test care for non-covid patients from 8am to 4.30pm with increased counters in OPD.
