MySuru: A Pancir Development Officer (PDO) was arrested by red hand while receiving cash from a complainant in his office in Hunsur on Thursday.
Anti-corruption bureau officials said that following complaints from Niluvagilu villagers, Hunsur, traps were placed for PDO TATTEKERE on Thursday.
The complainant has submitted a grant under the government scheme for the construction of a warehouse for the past five months.
He sanctions RS 28,000 from the government.
To release the number, the official was allegedly asked for bribery on January 19, Dharmendra said.
PDO Sathish Kumar KS was arrested while receiving RS 5,000 from the complainant in his office at around 16:30.
