Prasagraj: With the arrest of three men, the police on Thursday claimed to have committed kidnapping and a 38-year-old murder case.
The people arrested were identified as the Prime Defendant Dheeraj aka King Saroj, Jaggu alias Vijendra Saroj and Madan Lal – All Baghrai residents in Pratapgarh.Police said Dheeraj aka King Saroj had a prohibited relationship with the woman.
He recently saw another man with the woman, following him stop talking to him.
When Dheeraj and his accomplice learned that the woman planned to file brilliantly against them on false charges, they planned the murder.
Dheeraj told the police that he had made some futile attempts to calm him down but he insisted on marrying a court.
January 30, Dheeraj, along with his accomplice, reached the woman’s house, where he created a commotion.
However, Dheeraj managed to calm him down and took him to Lalgopalganj with the pretext of giving a new cellphone.
Then, the defendant strangled the woman and threw away near the Saini-Kokhraj bridge.
Prayagraj SSP Ajay Kumar told reporters that, “On Wednesday, one Dharmendra approached the police about the kidnapping of his sister with some unknown people.
Acting on a complaint, the police found his body in Kaushambi.” The police also confiscated a SIM card, the key to the woman’s house was killed , Cars, four cellphones and 1,480 cash from their ownership.
