(HDSCL) has accelerated work on toy train projects and has begun to put the track at Mahatma Gandhi Park in Hubballi.
HDSCL launched the 4.2 Crore RS project in 2020 and entrusted the job to Pune-based companies.
The work must be completed in December 2021 but delayed due to a pandemic.
HDSCL MD CW Shakeel Ahmed said putting a 950 meter track and other works were almost complete.
“The safety examination is being carried out.
After the security check is complete, the train running the train will be carried out on Tuesday.
The toy train will run on tracks with various speeds, where all the settings needed are done,” he said.
“After the preliminary setting to run the toy train finished, HDSCL officials will approach the train authority for inspection and test the train.
After all the procedures are completed, in a few weeks the toy train will run officially.

The toy train is designed on a modern bullet line profile line with a single glass screen and the front rolling LED screen.
The train will have two machines and four bogies.
Every bogie can accommodate 16 people.
Bogie will have air conditioning, CCTV, automatic door, solar roof and others, said source.
