Bhubaneswar: Congress on Monday claimed that the video recording of the Minister of State for Shankar Mishra at Raipur Airport could prove his visit to the capital Chhattisgarh for a meeting with Gobinda Sahu, Prima was accused of conducting murder cases of Mamita.
Political parties have launched an attack on Mishra demanding their fall for allegedly trying to help the Sahu avoid the arrest by meeting him in Raipur after committing a crime.
Mishra has a house in Raipur.Congress spokesman Manoj Mohaparna said the duo met at the minister’s residence.
From the traveler travel plan obtained through RTI and video recordings left Raipur airport for Chandigarh on October 18, it could be concluded without a doubt that Mishra was in Raipur to meet Gobinda.
“We demanded that Mamita’s call records, Mishra and Sahu were examined to bring the truth,” Mohapatra said at a press conference.
Congress has demanded Mishra’s resignation accused his direct or indirect involvement in Mamita’s murder.
Sahu, the main charges are also a partner near Mishra.
Mishra has denied the allegations that he had a meeting with Sahu or Mamita in Raipur.
According to the police, Mamita was killed on October 8, 2021.
Congress accused the government accidentally provided details of the ministerial plan from October 12 to October 20.
On the basis of video recording and schedule data, investigations can take a new turn, Mohapatra added.
Previously, Kantabanji Mla Santosh Singh Salamaja, also said that the junior minister met Mamita and Sahu to compromise in Raipur between 20 and 23 September, a few days before the murder.
The police, however, denied that the victim’s technical supervision (Mamita) and Prime defendant (Sahu) did not display evidence pointing before them in Raipur between 20 and 23 September.
Mamita was allegedly suffocated to death by a car.
His body then burned and was buried to destroy evidence.
