Karachi: Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to increase the monthly retainership of the senior national team (male and female) from 10 to 25 percent of the next cycle.
PCB will announce a new central contract for men within a few days.
The PCB Board of Governors who met virtually on Thursday also decided that in the future there will be equality in terms of matching costs for men.
At present, PCB is always awarded income and pays the cost of the match cost agreement based on player seniority.
BOG also approved an annual budget based on an activity of 8,997 billion rupees for the 2021-22 fiscal year which included rising retainership, inflation adjustments to his staff salaries, the production cost of the Cricketing House series and the protocol related to Covid-19.
The cost of PCB shows an increase of around 2 billion rupees spent from last year.

The ICC Evaluation Committee will now examine the expression of interests sent by other member countries before the second phase starts in September.
