Prayagraj: The authority of Allahabad University has issued a second show notice to the Assistant Professor of the medieval and modern history department, Vikram Harjan, about the issue of alleged abuse of a woman who claimed to be his wife and who had recently made a ruckus on the university campus and filed a complaint against the day VC.
Harijan had issued a notification of the show on May 18 and when he failed to give an explanation even after about 50 days, the university authority again issued a notification on July 7 where he was given only 24 hours to send the answer.
After receiving a notification of the cause of the show recently, the faculty member concerned has submitted the answer on Thursday where he has denied the accusation he leveled and said that in reality, he was the victim in this case.
The teacher also claimed that he also fought against the woman.
Notification of the Show, which was issued by the AU on July 7 and was signed by the AU Registrar, Prof.
NK Shukla said, “Notification of the Cause Show is given to you (Vikram Harijan) on May 18, 2021, via email and you are asked to do so Send facts on the 28th June.
50 days have passed but no reply in this context has been received in the registrar office.

“Free the allegations, Harijan claimed that he was a victim in all episodes and had submitted a legal case against women in the family court at the Tees Hazari Delhi.
He also said that he had paid money to the woman and his son for their survival.
“I have sent my reply to the registrar office on Thursday (July 8)”, said Harijan.
Meanwhile, the AU complaints committee against sexual abuse (C-cash) has also issued a notice to faculty members who asked him to tell about his relationship with the woman.
AU Public Relations Officer (Pro), Jaya Kapoor said, “A woman comes to the university to complain twice against Vikram Harijan.
The cause of the show has been issued to call an explanation in this matter.”
