PCB Intends June 5 Beginning of PSL, players to Function 10-day quarantine

KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to begin the PSL-6 at Abu Dhabi in June 5 along with the participating players will experience a 10-day quarantine period before they begin training.

The proprietor of Karachi Kings Salman Iqbal explained that the conditions and terms agreed between the PCB and the UAE government involve a compulsory 10-day quarantine period for officials, players and broadcasting team members.

“In between there’ll be routine Covid-19 tests throughout the period also,” Iqbal said.

A resource in the PCB said plans were being forced to fly both overseas and local gamers into Abu Dhabi from May 25 so they can begin their quarantine period along with the tournament could start from June 5.
