New Delhi: Star India Opener Smriti Mandhana strongly believes that cricket in the country has sufficient depth to the introduction of the six team IPL, which can then help in increasing the strength of the bench for the national side.
The 25-year-old stylish mixture said the quality of domestic players has increased in the game of men since the emergence of the Twenty20 league and the same thing can be a case of women’s cricket.
“There are the same number of countries for men and women.
So, when they started IPL men, there are the same number of countries.
But the quality is higher and higher because the years have passed,” Madhana said on the YouTube channel Ravichandran Ashwin.
