Prasagraj: The High Court of Allahabad has directed the Investigation Bureau Advice (CBI) to verify the fact whether Anand Giri, one of the alleged Narendra Giri suicide cases, President Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP), has visited Australia in May 2019 and was arrested at There in the case of persecution he remained in police custody and was later released and returned to India safely.
The court also directed the CBI advisor to submit a written statement after verifying this fact.
Judge Rajiv Gupta passed the order when during hearing the guarantee application was submitted by Anand Giri, his advice stated before the court that Anand Giri did not have a criminal history for his credit.
However, in para-16.7 of the charging sheet submitted by the CBI, it clearly stated that in May 2019 Anand Giri had visited Australia and was arrested in the case of persecution, which he remained in police custody and then returned to India safely.
