Prayagraj: The High Court of Allahabad has continued to carry out government orders on July 31, 2019, where Dr.
Kafreel Ahmad Khan, a pediatrician, was suspended on charges that he had cared for patients at Bahraich District Hospital and criticized government policies.
This is the second time Dr.
Kafel was suspended by the state government, while he was under suspension after the tragedy of August 2017 at the Brd Medical College in Gorakhpur, where 60 children had died of the alleged lack of oxygen in a few days.
Hearing the Writ petition submitted by Dr.
Kafel, justice Saral Srivastava on September 9 was directed to conclude an investigation against the applicant within a month.
The court was then directed that the applicant had to work together in an investigation and if the applicant did not work together, the disciplinary authority could continue to conclude the ex parte investigation.
While directing to register this case on November 11, 2021, the court directed that when this problem was listed, the respondent would notify the court about the results of the investigation.
In addition, the court directed the country’s four-week respondent’s authority to submit a counter-affidavit.
When Dr.
Kafel was suspended from service on August 22, 2017, after the death of around 60 babies at the Medical College Hospital Brd, Gorakhpur due to lack of oxygen, he was attached to the office of the Director General of Medical Education (DGME) of Lucknow’s office.
After that, he visited Bahraich Hospital claimed that he was called by the public to treat children affected by Japanese encephalitis.
