New Delhi: British Jofra Archer has been added to the Indian Premier League auction list but the tournament franchise is told on Tuesday to choose a quick bowler with their own risk.
Archer, who recovered from the second operation on his injured elbow, was between 590 Cricketers who were under the hammer on February 12 and 13 in Bangalore.
The 26-year-old has placed himself in a bracket on potential recruits at the base price of Rs 2 Crore.

The IPL announced the last auction list on Tuesday.
Among 590 players, a total of 228 which were restricted by players, 355 were not closed and seven belonging to the Associate state.
But the British and Wales cricket board registered it “with the intention of potential participation in 2023 and 2024, because the current injury could not be able to participate in the IPL 2022,” Chief Operating Officer Hemang Amin said to 10 franchises in the email seen by AFP.
“Therefore, the name has been included in the auction list but he will not display in a tent or another set to be served,” Amin added.
“He will be available to be called as long as an accelerated auction and anyone who chooses it will not get a substitute for the 2022 IPL season.” Ten teams will bid and participate in IPL this year after the addition of two new franchises, Ahmedabad and Lucknow.
Trent Bell, Pat Cummins, Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, Kagiso Rabada, and David Warner are one of the tent players at the top of the Mega auction.
