Gurgaon: Egyptian woman, who allegedly stabbed a taxi driver at Rajiv Chowk on Tuesday afternoon, sent to detention on Wednesday.
The police are still trying to find out the motives behind the attack and add that the woman does not work with them and the embassy staff.
He has been identified as Rihana aka Nuri from Egypt, and came to India two weeks ago, but the purpose of his visit was still unclear.
Tuesday, he knocked on the window of a taxi driver who was waiting for passengers at Rajiv Chowk.
When the driver rolled down the window, he took out the knife and stabbed the taxi driver and tried to escape.
