Prasagraj: Assistant Professor in the Botanical Department at CMP Degree College, Vijay Pratap Singh, has added new fur in the CMP gold camp, an University of Allahabad.
For research work, his name has been included in the list of researchers who have published ‘influential research work and most quoted’ by the famous American agency ‘clarifying analytics’ and those listed among the top 1% quoted by scientists 2021.
The list consists of 6602 Researchers from more than 70 countries in the world, the 22 scientists came from India.
Clarive Analytics is the most famous agent in the world that keeps the statistical records of research work databases conducted by research and scientists and how many times their work is quoted in all research conducted in the world.
Singh was the only assistant professor to reach this leg from the AU.
The research expertise is in the physiology of plants and biochemistry.
The research focuses on abiotic pressure regulation such as heavy metals with nitrate oxide, hydrogen sulfide, reactive oxygen species and phytohormonal crosstalk in plant plants.
“Our results can help in limiting losses related to abiotic stress for plant plants, and also in producing stress tolerance plants,” Singh said.
Singh completed his PhD from the University 2012 under the supervision of Prasad Prof.
and has published 112 research papers in famous international journals with high impact factors and 12 books with famous international publishers.
He has a research project from various government funding institutions, including DBT (Department of Biotechnology) and UGC (University Grant Commission), among others.
He also serves as an editor in a variety of well-known international journals, such as Biologia Plantarum, Acta Physiologiae Plantarum, plant growth regulations, etc., said Singh.
