Prayagraj: The University of Allahabad will provide the honor rate of Dlitt to record the Littérateur and film director Gulzar for his contribution to poetry, films and cultures.
The degree will be given to the literary personality recorded at the meeting scheduled for September 23.
The decision was taken at the AU Academic Council (AC) meeting held on campus on Wednesday.

AU has decided to give a Dlitt title to record Penilder Gulzar and AU will immediately contact him to get his approval,” Au said Public Relations Officer Jaya Kapur.
Lyrics, poets, writers, writers scenario, and famous director, Gulzar are recipients of Padma Bhushan (2004) and Dadasaheb Phalke Award (2013).
He must get a credit of many other awards, including five national film awards, 22 Filmfare Awards, One Academy Award for the Best Original Song (2008), One Grammy Award (2010) Besides Sahitya Award Academy for Urdu (2002).
The meeting also decided that all PhD holders from the 2018-19-19-20 session would be given a degree in a meeting.
Anandiben Governor Patel, as a university chancellor, has given his approval to come for the meeting.

In both there will be a choice between Indian culture, environmental studies, computer applications.
There will also be a choice between 10 elective courses.
AC also approved the translation of Sanskrit from the Moto AU ‘quot tot arbores’ as carried out by the Head of the Sanskrit Department with the direction of Chancellor Prof.
Sangita Srivastava.
The Sanskrit translation is Yavatyah Shakah Tavanto Vrikshah or Yavty Shakha Stavanto.
“AU will use the Sanskrit version of his logo along with the original motto in Latin,” The Pro said.
