Karachi: Babar Azam has led the Pakistani team well at the ongoing T20 World Cup and does not need to do anything different in the semi-final against Australia on Thursday, the Chairman of the PCB and the former King King captain said at night the match.
Pakistan has comfortably won all their five matches and was dubbed as a favorite to defeat Australia, which is also not bad.
“So far the Pakistani team really does well and impresses us well with their consistent performance.
I don’t think Babar Azam needs to do something differently in the semi-final against Australia.
The team must remain motivated and play without fear,” Ramiz .
Word in a statement.
Ramiz said that he was happy to see the Pakistani team spilling a show that was inconsistent by doing consistently both at the T20 World Cup and won five consecutive matches.
“The victory above India is the result of a strong temperament when we beat New Zealand with some good planning while victory over the Afghan team came after playing their spinners,” he added.
He said that the leadership of Babar, the confidence of the players and their humble behavior in the field have been valued by everyone and has caused consistency in team performance too.
“You have qualified for the knock-out stage …
Victory or defeat is not in any human hand.
But you must continue to play good cricket and have confidence.
The prayers of the nation are with you.” Ramiz said he was happy to see that no players who were afraid of losing and they played cricket without fear which was the brand of Pakistan Cricket must always play.
Ramiz, who took over as chairman of the council on September 13 received a request of Babar for changes to the squad before the World Cup, something acknowledged by Pakistani captain on Tuesday has allowed him to lead a team that is more confident and without fear.
Ramiz himself flew to Dubai to attend the World Cup final and also the ICC board meeting, which was held for the first time in the previous Covid-19 outbreak.
