Bailey’s former captain replaces Hohns as the main Australian voter

The former Australian captain George Bailey has been appointed as Chair of the National Election Panel, replacing Trevor Hohns who retired after two successful tasks, said Cricket Australia (CA) on Sunday.
Bailey joined the panel in February last year and took over as head voters before the World Cup Twenty20 this year, the gray house series against England and tours to sub-continents.
“I want to thank Trevor for his extraordinary work that has helped shape the success of Australian cricket for a long time, including during my days as a player and captain,” Bailey said, who played.
