Hubballi / Karwar: The day after taking over as cm, Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday toured a quail girl if the North Karnataka district visited Hometown Hubballi and Palces affected by flooding in Uttara Kannada.

Bommai, accompanied by former Minister of Shivaram Hebbar and other legislators, visited Ankola Taluk where people who lived on the banks of the Gangavali river had borne the burning of floods.
After inspection, Bommai said the West Ghat region witnessed heavy rain.
“Landslides have often occurred and everyone who loses houses will be compensated,” he said.
Bommai is expected to announce assistance after a review meeting with high-ranking officials in Bengaluru.
