Melbourne: Australian Opener Ben McDermott and Western All-Rounder Hindher Romario Shepherd is banking on their impressive performances recently to accommodate maiden IPL deal, after unsold in the previous season Lukun Lucrative T20.
McDermott great season wrap impressive Bash League, which saw it was voted player of the tournament on Monday, while also getting a recall to the Australian T20 side for the series Sri Lanka next month.
The 27-year-old player was also the highest run scorer with 577 BBL at a strike rate of 153.86.
McDermott, who has played 17 T20i and two ODI for Australia, never appearing in the IPL.
He did not sell last season.
“There is not too much I can do now, it’s all up to the people who are responsible,” said McDermott was quoted by Cricket.com.au.
“I’m glad.

I’m not saying that I do not think about it – I thought about it, but I tried not to think about it during the game, I just focus on any game and try to remove themselves from the situation,” he added.
Shepherd is one of 41 players from the Caribbean who have signed up for auction Mega.
