Bagalkot: The transfer of the government about the movement of people and crowding though, the formation of assessments on thousands continued in their son to the Banokan Temple in Badami.

Both worshipers and residents of the villages do not really care about obeying safety guidelines, with some of those who lead to the temple seen wearing masks, or maintaining safe distances from each other.
The villagers of Belur-Jogi said that they offered food, water and other items to worshipers, so they could also benefit from the income of the Dewi Banakakari.
NeLelakantappa, one of the worshipers towards the temple, said that he made a pilgrimage every year.
“This is a ritual, the settlement that we believe will bring health and prosperity to us.
If the district administration makes our way, we will end our trip, and offer Puja to Dewi at the point where we have been stopped,” he said.
Bagalkot police supervisor Lokesh Jagalasara confirmed to the Toi that all the way to the Banokan Temple had been barricled.
“We have deployed sufficient personnel around the temple.
Because many worshipers use many alternative routes to arrive at the temple, we become alert maybe,” he added.
Banashankari Jatra’s Rathotsava is scheduled to be held on Monday.
Jathra is a monthly ritual.
Officials in the Bagalkot Regency administration, and members of the temple management have appealed to worshipers against visiting the temple considering the surge in the surge in Covid-19 cases.
