Prasagraj: Bharatiya Janata 35 Years (BJP) Office-Bearer was shot by three unknown-masked attackers near his home in Lehra Village under the boundaries of the Phaphamau police station in the Trans-Ganga area on Monday night.
The police have submitted FIR below section 307 (trying to murder) IPC against some unknown people and launched the probe into this problem.
The victim, was identified as Ajay Sharma, a resident of Lehra Village, was treated in a private hospital where his condition was declared harmless on Tuesday.
The police have been deployed in the village to relieve tension in the village.
Sharma, who works as a property dealer, is Vice President of the BJP District of Kisan Morcha (Trans-Ganga).
Excavation / SSP (Prayagraj) Sarvashreshth Tripathi told reporters that several police teams have been suppressed into services to ensure the arrest of the attackers.
He added, “The unknown striker targeted Sharma when he left his house for several jobs on Monday night.
The victim suffered five bullet wounds, including in the stomach and shoulder area.” SSP said, “The initial investigation had revealed that the victim was a property dealer and Having a dispute with several people.
The police also looked at the corner of the property dispute.
“The victim told the police that he had noticed three masked men opening fire to him.
Hearing the sound of the bullet, his family members and neighbors rushed to the site and took the injured to the SRN hospital for treatment from where he then shifted to a private hospital.
On Tuesday, senior police officers, including IG (Prayagraj range) and excavation / SSP examined the incident site and issued the direction needed to their subordinates.
