Prasagraj: On the last day of submission of nominations, two candidates for the Bharatiya Janata (BJP), six Congress candidates, one candidate for the Sawajawadi Party (SP) has submitted their nomination.
BJP candidates from the segment of the Assembly of Allahabad North and Koraon – Harsh Bajpai and Rajmani Koll on Tuesday submitted their nomination.
Before both candidates could move to submit their nominations, party workers and leaders turned them with Angvastram and Garlands near the Collectorate and hoped for their victory in the assembly poll.
Meanwhile, the Candidate of the Samajwadi Party (SP) Ramdeo Nidear also submitted a nomination from KORA.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Jamajwadi Party and former President of the University of Allahabad University (AUSU) Richa Singh also arrived to apply for his nomination.
The President of the SP district of Yogesh Chandra Yadav told TII that he did not know about the nomination of Richa’s archiving and no official communique received from the party’s headquarters about his nomination on Tuesday.
The party candidate from the West Allahabad assembly chair, Amarnath Maurya has submitted its nomination on Monday itself, he added.
Meanwhile, Congress candidates including Manoj Pasi (Soraon), Reena Devi Bind (Handia), Siddanath Maurya (Phulpur), Rinki Sunil Patel (Karchana), RAM Kol Chip (Koraon) and Shalini Dwivedi (desk) also submitted their nomination.
Party spokesman Haseeb Ahmad said, “The party does not only deploy his team of trusted but also provides an opportunity for new faces to oppose the assembly poll”.
Meanwhile, BSP candidates from Allahabad West, Qadir Wash has also submitted a series of second nominations on Tuesday.
More than 150 candidates have submitted their nomination for 12 district assembly seats.
