BSP district machine sends 60 names for 12 district assembly seats ahead of the 22 ‘poll

Prasagraj: When different political parties have begun their preparation for future state assemblies polls because the beginning of next year, the Bahujan Party District Committee (BSP) also joined the race.
For the same, after closing the biodata from the candidates who tried to get a party ticket from 12 district assembly seats for assembly polls of 2022, district, assembly constituity, and the main sector of the Party Committee had sent 60 applications for the Head of BSP Mayawati.
In addition, these committees also recommend names of 18 prospective candidates for nine district assembly chairs in their report.
These nine seats are Phaphamau, Soron, Handia, Tables, Karchhana, Allahabad West, Allahabad South, Bara and Koraon.
Candidates for the remaining three seat assembly Allahabad North, Phulpur and Pratappur are believed to have been resolved by the party, with two Brahmin and one Muslim face, said a senior BSP leader for information.
ABHISHEK Gautam, the newly appointed BSP Prayagraj District Unit President, confirmed that the names of probable candidates have been sent to the party headquarters.
“Now, our national president Mayawati Ji and senior leaders will make a last call in this matter,” he added.
The party in the party said the Head of BSP is likely to meet with ticket seekers before putting the last seal on the names of candidates who participated in calling potential candidates for interviews.
A senior BSP leader, asked anonymity, said this time the party might delay naming candidates for many seats to close to the election so that the field of candidate was feasible, while considering the candidate named Bharatiya Janata and the Samajwadi Party.
If the leaders of the party are believed, BSP can involve a PAL community leader from the West Allahabad seat to redeem the former MLA Puja friend, who lost the election of the seat in 2017 to Sidharth Nath Singh, after leaving a party.
In Allahabad West and Allahabad South Seats, the BSP Committee has continued the names of three leaders as potential candidates, including two Muslim leaders in both seats.
The party leaders claim that the name of the Brahmana trader leader has been resolved by the party to compete from Allahabad North Seat.
The most intense battle is for the Pratappur and Soron chairs from where the party sits Mlaas Mujtaba Siddiqui and Judge Lal Bind (the only seat that can be won by BSP in 2017 of 12 in Prayagraj) has defected the Samajwadi Party.
The party leaders say BSP can involve Muslim faces from Pratappur, and will bring down a Brahmin leader from the Handia seat.
