Business Community in Hubballi-Dharwad welcome lifting of curbs

Dharwad: It sighed that the business community in the twin cities welcomed the weekend.
The Rising Covid Curve has encouraged the state government to impose release on the movement of people and other activities during the weekend, leaving the business community that screwed more desperate.
However, after several selected representatives who called on the Government of Bumavaraj Bommai to lift the sidewalk, it was a business as usual in Hubballi-Dharwad on Saturday.

With restrictions lifted, many commercial centers in twin cities returned to life, with customers starting to be busy with weekend shopping.
Among other things, the Union and Dharwad Minister MP Pralhad Joshi, Mysore MP Pratap Sime, and other BJP leaders have criticized the state government for imposing weekend meals, and have urged dispensation to reconsider their decisions.
Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) visited many stores on Saturday to ensure comply with Covid security norms.
Anjaneya Jujar, a wholesale vegetable trader, said, “Sales of fruit and vegetables are permitted during curfew, but the villagers do not travel to the city due to lack of transportation facilities.
Most people remain at home too, who only hurt our business.
With the sidewalk of the government, Economic activities can get momentum again.
“Hotelier Santosh Shetty said that they would obey the Covid protocol, and urged the government to help them continue their business.
“We are grateful that the government decided to lift the weekend hours,” he said.
