Ranchi: The Country Cabinet on Thursday night cleaned the deck for the high-cum-cum road project among Siromtoli Chowk and Mecon Roundabout in Ranchi.
The 2.34 km-length project will attract a net investment of Rs 337.5 Crore.
The Ministership Council, who met at Jharkhand Mantalaraya, also approved the strengthening and widening of the nine road projects at Godda, Gumla, Dumka, Seramala-Kharsawan, East Singhbhum Regency, Jamtara and Pakit with a total cost of Rs 419 Crore.
In another decision, the Cabinet approved the state energy department proposal to put the transmission line and regulate infrastructure facilities to evacuate the power of a hot power plant Patrate under construction in Ramgarh Regency at RS 2,181.96 CRORE.
It also revised the deadline for settlement of Jharkhand Sampoorna Bijli Vistar Yojana, where the country aims to reach 100% household electrification, until March next year.
The cabinet gave a nod to the home department proposal to run four contra of the CRPF and anti-terrorist school up to 2024 March and changed the provisions of the penalty in the State Employee Service Regulations.
It also deletes the proposal to provide RE 1 as the dealer commission to the PDS store operator for each linen that will be distributed to 64 beneficiaries of the NFSA Lakh under the Sona Sobran Scheme Dhoti Saree State.
“The Dealer Commission will produce an additional financial burden of Rs 1.25 Crore in the state,” said Secretary of the Vandana Deadel Cabinet.
In another decision, the minister’s board approved a proposal to climb the wealth of government contract workers of 83% and gave a nod to a series of amendments made by the Ministry of Education and Literacy of the State School in Tet Exam Regulations.
The cabinet also provides a nod to the commercial tax proposal for the State Department to collect composite users of Rs 600 in commercial vehicles carrying more than 9 tons of cargo on the state highway.
It also sanctioned the construction of new collectorate buildings in Gumla at a cost of Rs 50 Crore and approved a proposal for loan loans worth Rs 420 Crore from Nabard for the implementation of various schemes under the forest, rural development and irrigation department.
