Prayagraj: Central Education Council (CBSE) has asked all school principals from its affiliated schools which number around 25,902 to ensure the resolution of national initiatives for the principal and the progress of the teacher’s holistic (Nishtha) with a secondary level (class 9- 12) teachers on schedule provided by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT).
Being a holistic program under the Samagra Shiksha and University of Education’s Education program – Nishtha – launched in 2020.
Courses launched under the Nishtha program centered on learning outcomes and Learner-Centerc pedagogy and has been adjusted in online mode.
Ncert is doing these courses for the secondary stage (class 9 to 12) throughout the country through the Diksha portal.
Praising the move, the head of the MPVM Ganga Guruka, Phaphamau, Alpona Dey, said that the teacher has been urged to register courses and resolve it as needed.
“Separate links according to language preferences for various categories of affiliate schools such as one for Independent CBSE private schools and one for the middle Tibet School Administration (CTSA), Atomic Energy Education (AEA), Eklavya (EMRS) occupancy schools, Saink Schools and schools CBSE assisted by the government has been provided, besides the link to download the Diksha application, “he shared.
“A recent letter addressed to the principal by the Director (Skills Training and Education) Bisang Saha has been received in this matter.
The letter also provides a link and includes steps for teachers to register and access the courses available in English and Hindi media in Diksha, a platform was launched to act as a national digital infrastructure for teachers, “Jaya Singh, DP headmaster, A secondary school with CBSE affiliated in Katra, told TII.
He said that grade 9 to 12 teachers have been asked to complete the course as desired and the reviews will be carried out in the next few days to assess progress in this matter.
The letter also explained that the course link for Navodaya Vidyalaya (NVS) and Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) teachers (KV) will be distributed by their respective organizations.
The letter states that the certificate will be produced in 7-10 business days, if the 100% course is complete and the minimum 70% score is achieved by the teachers in the course assessment.
A maximum of three efforts will be permitted to score 70% in the final assessment of the course, and the participants need to reach a minimum of 70% to get a certificate.
Under this program, the teacher is trained to use art as a pedagogy that leads to increased creativity and innovation among students.
It also aims to develop and strengthen the social quality of students for holistic development and the creation of a healthy and safe school environment.
