Prayagraj: When the Ministry of Health increases the impulses of immunization against Covid-19, one third of the target recipients will all be borne in the first week of August.
So far, more than 12.09 lakh doses have been managed in this district, with more than 14,000 jabs managed to recipients of all age groups every day.
In Sangam City, district health department officials have set the target of providing Covid vaccines to around 39.87 people, including 27 Lakh recipients aged between 18 and 44 and 12.87 lakh over 45 years.
In particular, around 5.7 percent of the target recipients have taken the covid vaccine dose in the district so far.
With 2,640 more people took second jab, the number of people who were fully immunized against Covid had reached 2,29,464 on Sunday.
Meanwhile, with 24.57 percent of the target recipients get the first jab, the number of first dose recipients has reached 9,80,086.
Officials claim that as many as 12,09,550 Covid shots have been injected to beneficiaries of all age groups in the district until 1.
August.
While 9,80,086 people have taken the first dose, 2,29,464 the receiver has received a second shot.
A total of 14,326 vaccine shots were given to people from all age groups in the last 24 hours, which included 11,686 first doses and 2,640 second doses.
District Immunization Officers (DIO) and Chief Medical Additional Officers Dr.
Therar Lal told Tii, “We made sincere efforts to increase the number of recipients in urban areas, semi-urban and rural areas.
We will take vaccinations at 44 sites on Monday (2 August) , including 21 sites in rural areas and 23 sites in urban areas.
“He said vaccination exercises would be carried out in all 20 CHC and one urban city in the district.
Dio added that more and more recipients of all age groups spend their doubts and reach the Covid vaccination center to be affixed.

In July only, around 12,000 recipients received a vaccine dose in the district every day.
The number of recipients aged between 18 and 44 years is seven times more than those who take second jab.
