DC is looking for a report on the death of covid patients at KIMS

Dharwad: Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil has asked district health workers to investigate the death of a woman who is a Covid-19 patient in Hubballi, and submits a report.
In his letter to DHO Dr.
BC Karigoudar on Tuesday, DC referred to the death of a Covid-19 patient at the Covid Vedant treatment center at KimS Hospital on Monday, because of the allegations of nursing staff negligence, and asked DHO to probe and send a report in time 24 hours.
DC said the district government had taken precautions to contain the spread of Covid-19, and the steps had been taken to provide the number of beds needed, medical facilities and oxygen, and to ensure the right storage and distribution of drugs.

The 62-year-old woman, who has tested the positive SARS-COV-2 virus, and is undergoing treatment at the Vedanta Covid Care Center at Kims Hospital, has died at 2:30 p.m.
on Monday.
There were accusations that there was no nurse staff in the ICU at that time, and that this might have caused his death.
However, KimS management denied this accusation, and said that the woman was given treatment on time and right, and there.
There were no shortcomings in medical services given to him.
However, it has been studied that there are no nurses in the ICU between 14:00 and 2:45, to provide medical care to the woman, and that he died at 2:30 a.m.

KIMS has asked Padmavati Nursing Inspector to submit a report on the nurse who is on duty when the incident occurred.
