Hubballi: In an effort to provide many street vendors throughout the twin cities Special Space, Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has decided to set up a food park with an estimated cost of Rs 3 Crore in 20 Guntas.
Officials have so far selected two places for proposed food parks, which have been chosen based on feasibility and easy access.
HDMC is expected to invite the immediate tender “special food parks will help get rid of twin cities problems created by street vendors.

Already in HDMC said that the authorities have chosen two places – while one is near the Karnataka Art Campus in Dharwad, where 20 Guntas from open land is considered ideal for the park, another plot of land owned by the Horticulture Department.
Officials HDMC plans to establish a food park near the college, and must be a problem to appear on the location, they are willing to consider the alternative location.
HDMC Commissioner Suresh Itnal said that the Civic Agency was considering making sure the place to eat was very hygienic.
“We plan to set up a food garden in Dharwad.
