Ahmedabad: The request was ordered against 10 police from Desesa Taluka from Banskantha, including an inspector, two sub-inspectors and seven police – for allegedly framing the Ahmedabad company employee in the case of Blackmarketing of Remdesivir during the second wave of Covid.
The Head of the Judge Judge (CJM) Desesa, Indrajitsinsinh Bhatti, has directed the Banskantha police supervisor (SP) to investigate 10 police after the complaint submitted in court by one Harshad Thakkar.
The complainant accused that the police accused of not only trapping him, but also extorted Rs 1.5 lakh from him.
According to the case details, in May when the second wave of Covid-19 was at its peak, Thakkar was asked by his company to work from home.
So Thakkar returned home in Desesa in his car when the police stopped him at CHHAPI check-post and ordered it and the other three were because of the blackmarketing of the injection remode.
Thakkar accused the complaint of his court that he was in prison for 45 days.
During police detainees two days, Thakkar, accused him of being harassed and insulted by the police.
He further alleged that the police extorted Rs 1.5 lakh from him.
Immediately after getting a guarantee, Thakkar had filed a complaint against the police posted with the Branch of Local Crime Banesterna and the Chhapi Police Station.
However, there were no actions taken against the police.
As the last choice, Thakkar filed a complaint in the court last month against 10 police accused them of framing him and misused their strength.
