Derail Train Items in Jaunpur, Traffic Blocked on Lucknow-Varanasi Rail Rail

Varanasi: At least 14 bogies from the train goods towards Varanasi from Lucknow slipped near the Train Station Shri Krishna Nagar in Jaunpur Regency at 7.57 in the morning on Thursday, blocking Train Traffic Lucknow-Varanasi through Sultanpur.
Busy efforts were made to repair the track, remove the damaged body and restore train traffic, the train official told toi, added that there was no injury or victim reported in the incident.
Blocking the route caused the transfer of nine trains above and down, while a short train was stopped and the passenger train was canceled, said the train official.
“Following dance, several trains including Delhi-Varanasi Mahamana Express was stopped at various train stations,” said the additional division train manager from Ravi Ravi Chaturvedi on Thursday.
He added, “DrM NR Lucknow Suresh Kumar Sapra and other senior officials have reached the site of the incident, where the operation for clearing tracks for the recovery of the train movement has begun.” Train goods with 59 empty bogies have left for PT Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction Yard through Sultanpur, Jaunpur and Varanasi.
While moving between UDPUR Ghatampur train stations and Shri Krishna Nagar in the Badlapur area in Jaunpur District, derips occurred at 7.57 in the morning when it changed lane, the official said, suspecting that dance occurred due to damage in the railway line.

Other trains, 04264 Varanasi-Sultanpur, was shot ended while 04263 SLN-BSB was stopped short, said officials who added, 02301 Shramjeevi Express and 045333 Baruni-Ambala Cantt Harihar Express, 04007 Raxaul-Anand Terminal Vihar and 02237 Begampura Express above the line diverted on the Pratapgarh route.
Some trains on line, including the special train festival, was also diverted on the Pratapgarh route.
Chaturvedi said that the process of eliminating the bogies that slipped from the track and recovery of damaged tracks had begun.
However, officials cannot confirm when the track recovery process will be completed to normalize the train movement on the Varanasi-Sultan-Lucknow route.
