HubbalLi: GooLappa Aralikatti, a documentary filmmaker has made the ‘Haveri Veerara Swatantrya Sangrama’, a documentary about the Freedom Fighters of Haveri District.

Aralikatti told TII that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to young people in ‘Mann Ki Batat’, on March 28, 2021, to introduce freedom fighters from their area for Mark Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.
“Modi appeal motivated me to think of freedom fighter from our district.
I began to learn about the Freedom of the Haveri District and learned that they were in touch with national leaders such as Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose and the others,” he said.
