Karachi: Pakistan Pacer Hasan Ali, who has oversaw the storm after dropping an important catch in the loss of the T20 World Cup semifinals to Australia, has received full support from state cricket stalwarts such as Wasim Akram and Misbah-ul-haq.
Former Accram Pakistan captain, Waqar Younis, Rashid Latif, Misbah and Inzamam-ul-Haq supported Hasan and said it would be unfair to embrace him responsible for the defeat of the five Pakistani goal on Thursday night.

“I don’t understand why one player must be chosen.
Hasan has been an extraordinary player for us and won the match to us.
Anyone can drop catch or have a bad day …
Does it make him a bad player?” Questioning Akram.
“What we don’t want is that the whole country gets after the poor Hasan Ali now.
I have been through this, Waqar Younis has passed it.
In other countries, it’s just a game for people.
The next day, you say well try, bad luck , hopefully lucky will be better, and continue, “he said on the ‘sports’ channel.
Inzamam also agreed and noted that in a high pressure game error can occur.
“Australians also dropped catches.
Hasan was very low in trust and I thought it was the responsibility of the management of the team to make sure he did not fall fully,” he added.
Waqar echoed sentiments.
“Nobody deliberately does something think we need to understand it is sports,” he recalled.
Requires 22 escaping from the last last, the wild swing Matthew Wade on the third ball Shaheen Shah Afridi sent a skier to Hasan which spilled catch on the side of the foot.
Wade responded by hitting three more to complete the pursuit of the winner against Pakistan.
Hasan also conceded 44 running from four overs against the Aussies.
“Hard criticism and trolling on social media can hurt this player mentally and I can tell you all Pakistani teams will drop after losing a big match,” Latif said.
“The players will go to their room, they will be silent, they will not talk to their families and defeat will haunt them.
But I think we need to move and return strongly,” he added.
He said the Pakistani team had provided a good account about themselves in the tournament and there were many things to be built for the World T20 Cup next year in Australia.
“The way he returns from the injury problem is a miracle and he has won so many matches.
So I’ll just ask for cricket fans if he made a mistake, he is a human being and don’t discourage him,” Misbah said.
Pakistan Fast Bowler, Wahab Riaz said it was not always easy to take the ball under the lights at the Dubai Stadium.
“The catch was dropped by everyone.
I think Hasan needs to take himself and continue.
He doesn’t have a very good World Cup and he lacks confidence.”
