Elgar is ready for the 'massive' test against India in Newlands

Cape Town: The Dean of Elgar South Africa said the third and final test against India in Newlands on Tuesday was his team’s biggest match in 15 years when they saw to win a series on the other side of the world and gave trust in the new group of players.
India won the first test at 113 Run in Pretoria, before the home team rose again with a seven goal victory in the second in Johannesburg, driven by Captain Elgar who was unbeaten in the second round when they were chased 240 to win.
For the South African team who have lost a number of experienced players in recent years and slipping to number six in the ICC test ranking, victory in Cape Town can be a turning point, according to Elgar.
“This test match has the biggest potential we have in 15 years,” Elgar told reporters on Monday.
“It will be the biggest victory in my play career and massively for us.” We have played cricket which is pretty good, even though we have some things that don’t run.
We have done everything correctly.
“What we did in the last test as a play group talked a lot about us.
Winning this series will be very big.” Elgar did not predict any changes by his side and expect the players to fight the fight.
“We stretched to be stable as possible by playing Xi.
We look at the wanderer (in the second test), when we bring the intensity it seems more confusing Indians.
It will be ridiculous to us.
Not to try and replicate it,” he added.
The Newlands pitch is traditionally a paradise of seafarers, with Australia to spend to 47 in 2011 and New Zealand for 45 in 2013, but did not have steps and rose from high tracks.
Elgar believes that the goal for this game has the potential to see five days running matches.
“The condition looks good, I think it’s the best I’ve ever seen from Newlands for some time,” he said.
“They are trying to prepare a good test wicket, they want to deteriorate on the fourth day and five.
I think they want us to play five days of cricket.”
