The British has added a dough Harry Brook to their twenty -20 team for the five-match series this month against West Indies as a cover for Sam Billings, who was called to the ash squad last week, said the State Cricket Board (ECB) on Tuesday.
Brook, who played for Yorkshire, has spent winter with British Lions forces in Australia before joining Hobart Hurricanes in Big Bash League.
The 22-year-old child will return to England before flying to Barbados, ECB added.
Billings, who joined the ash squad for the final test in Hobart after injury to Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow, would remain part of the 17-person troops for the West Indies tour.
Coach stand-in Paul Collingwood and Assistant coach Marcus Trescothick will join Anthony McGrath as Batting coach, Alan Richardson as coach of Bowling Pace and Paul Tweddle as coach Fielding and Wicketkeeper for tours, the ECB said.
The T20 series began on January 22 and will conclude on January 30.
