Manchester: Deputy captain of England Jos Buttler on Thursday said he expected the fifth and last test against India to continue according to the schedule despite the new Covid-19 case.
The UK needs to win the final test, starting on Friday, but new concerns emerged when Physior Physio Yogesh Parmar Tim India tested the positive virus on the night’s night, resulting in cancellation of the party training session.
Their head coach Ravi Shastri and Bowling coach Bharath Arun has also contracted infection and in isolation in London.
“I don’t know too much, to be honest, right now.
Currently we expect a game to continue.
Everything is fine in our camp.
We look forward to the game,” Buttler said during the media.
Interaction when asked about the latest developments.
Buttler, who was on my father’s leave during the oval test, said his team was all fired at Square the Series, the Indian lead 2-1 at this time.
“It is a fantastic test match (on the oval).
Indians play brilliant cricket.
We want to win the match test and series level.
The spirits are high on the side, it must win the game for us,” he said.
There is speculation that Spearhead Spearheharh Pace England will rest for the game but Buttler hints on the contrary.
“He has decayed fantastically well in the series.
Jimmy is very fit.
He has kept himself very well.
He looks exactly the same (like in the first match) and is available for selection,” he said.
Talking about the goal, buttler said, “the goal is pretty good, looks rather dry.
Maybe there is spinning later.
We played against West Indies and Pakistan so we knew his condition was quite good.” Earlier that day, England announced their World Cup squad which would be without Stokes Ben-Rounder Star.
Buttler was the deputy captain and he said they had many players for the tournament.
“There is strength and depth.
Fantastic white ball.
We have some brilliant players and match winners.
We are happy for that challenge and will try to do optimally.” It has also been reported that when England will travel to ash at the end of the year, the players may not be allowed to bring their families.
Asked about this, Buttler said the players would make a decision about this problem only when they had more clarity.
“In the current situation we are waiting for more information to make a decision.
All guys wait more clearly in (next) two weeks,” he said.
