Lahore: England will play two extra international T20 which was initially planned when they visited Pakistan next year, the chief executive of his cricket board Tom Harrison announced here on Tuesday after meeting the King’s PCB chairman.
England will play the T20i match in September / October next year.
They will then return to Pakistan in November / December behind the T20 World Cup in Australia to play three tests, which will form a part of the ICC world test championship.
“This is only to reaffirm our commitment to Pakistan Cricket to get the English team, a team of men and women, finally playing in Pakistan at home,” Harrison said in the release of the Pakistani cricket board.
“I don’t think there is a cricket in England who don’t want to test their abilities towards the big talent of this country and in the best conditions.” Harrison has flown to Pakistan to meet Ramiz in an effort to improve damaged relations by the cancellation of the last month.
The men’s English team was arranged for Pakistani tours in October for the first time since 2005, while their women had never played in the country.
However, the ECB has canceled the series, quoting “mental and physical welfare” from players and security issues, decisions filled with severe criticism.
“Self and Senior Director of ECB Martin Darlow visited Lahore to speak directly with PCBs around several things that have taken place for the past few weeks, which lead to the cancellation of our tour in October,” Harrison said.
“We also want to discuss the future because both boards have a historic relationship and want to move the agenda in the direction that looks forward as opposed to one looking back.” Harrison said he discussed with PCB officials around the involvement of lanes, how to support proposals around women’s games and some interesting ideas around the domestic agenda in Pakistan.
“We will build this plan forward together and we are also excited about that.” The king said the PCB was excited that Britain had committed to playing two additional T20i as part of their white ball tour next year.
“The ECB has shown great good to be here which I thank Tom and Martin.
That means a lot to us.
We do a lot of effort to ensure that all the visitors feel comfortable in Pakistan.” It was a matter of pride for Pakistani fans, who hoped to welcome Australia and England in 2022.
Britain had got a great team and it was confusing how they had produced so many winners of the match in a range of about five to seven years.
They play very interesting and interesting cricket, which is fantastic for fans and big advertising games.
“Harrison’s decision to come to Pakistan came with the announcement by Cricket Australia that it would go around Pakistan early next year.
Australia confirmed to send his team to Pakistan just came for days after the West Indies board also announced the Pakistani tour in December for the ball series White.
