England paceman Ollie Robinson, that chose to have a rest from cricket following historic offensive Twitter articles he left to light this season, will perform Sussex’s second group in Twenty20 matches from Hampshire, his county stated on Monday.
Robinson said on Thursday he’d have a break to spend some time with his loved ones and overlooked Sussex’s Vitality Blast matches from Gloucestershire and Hampshire Hawks on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
He’ll return to action from the next group’s behind-closed-doors T20 suits Hampshire on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old was suspended from international cricket pending an evaluation following his Twitter posts resurfaced on his test debut against New Zealand at Lord’s fourteen days back.
Robinson apologised”unreservedly” to be”thoughtless and reckless” in the time of submitting the tweets.
