JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Tuesday announced that Enoch Nkwe had left his position as assistant coach of the Proteas men’s team, the position he held since December 2019.
Henokh was briefly a team director.
Henoch had been involved in the Cricket SA because almost two decades both as players and coaches, played for Gauteng and Lions Highveld and then joined Gauteng Lions as head coach.
“While every effort is made to maintain his services, Enoch has decided to focus on personal growth and professional development.
This gives him the opportunity to return to the system in the future with his better and certain feelings from his direction.

CSA also mandated acting CEO, Pholetsi Moseki, to oversee a process to urge replacement for Enoch ahead of the T20 World Cup.
CSA Board Chair, Lawson Naidoo, said, “Very disappointing to lose someone from Calibber Henokh at this time, but we fully understand and respect his decision.
We are entertained by the fact that he remains committed to SA Cricket, and hopes that he will re-present the game We are all loved.
He has and continues to be an inspiration for young translators and coaches.
