Bridgetown (Barbados): England Skipper Eoin Morgan has been ruled out from the last two matches twenty20 against West Indies due to a front thigh injury.
Skipper also missed the third T20, which was won by West Indies with 20 walks to lead 2-1 in the five-match series.
Moeen Ali has been the side captain with the absence of Morgan.
“England captain England Eoin Morgan will lose the last two matches of the Twenty20 international series against West Indies with low-grade thigh injuries,” said the British cricket board statement and Waled Cricket (ECB).
“Morgan sat T20 third in Barbados on Wednesday night after he felt pain in his right quad during heating.” Follow-up testing revealed he suffered a right thigh muscle injury, while relatively small, would prevent it.
Playing further games during the current tour, “he added.
The British Skipper has scored 17 and 13 running in the first and second T20 match.
The fourth T20 is scheduled to be held on Sunday followed by the last match on Monday, here.
