Sussex (UK): Sussex Cricket on Wednesday announced the appointment of former Grant Cricketer Zimbabwe flower as coach of Batting Club.
Flowers joined Sussex after two years as Batting coach for the Sri Lanka national team.
He did the same role for Pakistan between 2014 and 2019 and for Zimbabwe between 2010 and 2014.
“This gave me a great pleasure to be added to Sussex training staff and I can’t wait to start.
I have been told about an exciting young man.
The dough comes through Rank and eager to be given the opportunity to hopefully increase them throughout their trip, “Grant Flower said in a statement like Sussex crickets.
“I always enjoy playing against sharks and admiring their professional approach and ultra-competitiveness.
Hopefully I can add it to some of my international training experience and help contribute to making a reliable and interesting shark bat unit,” he added.
Flowers scored more than 10,000 runs in 288 international matches.
The Most Capped Zimbabwe Odi player with 221 appearances, 6,571 ODI walked to make the highest run-scorer in his country in the format.
He is also part of a particular player group with 1,000 runs and 100 Wickets in Odis.
Flowers replaced Jason Swift who had decided to leave the club to pursue another opportunity.
