LONDON: FAF DU PLESSIS South Africa will miss his team who opened three new Cricket English competitions because of the effects of lingering from the concussion of the brain, announced Saturday.
Du Plessis was caused by the North Supercharger captain after replacing Aaron Finch Australia.
But he was not in addition to the opening match of the SuperChargers from 100 new balls per tournament with Welsh fire on Saturday, with England all-rounder Ben Stokes led the team instead.
Former South African captain Du Plessis, 37, suffered a concussion during the T20 Pakistan Super League (PSL) match in Abu Dhabi last month, after colliding with the Gladiator Quetta Mate Mohammad Hasnain while trying to save the limit and not take part in the event.
“The captain of the North Supercharger Man Faf Du Plessis has been ruled out from the opening three matches of one hundred, because the mixture continues to suffer from a concussion symptom,” said the British cricket board statement and Wales.
“The North Superchargers medical team has considered the 37-year-old player since his arrival last Friday and has decided that it was in the best interest of the dough to rest for three opening matches.
They will continue to monitor their progress.” Stokes is now set to the captain of the side in their two opening games.
In a tweet posted on June 13, Du Plessis said: “Thank you everyone for all messages support.
