The former minister was here to inaugurate Hosagouday Samuday Bhavan belonging to his supporters and the functioner of the Local Congress Mahesh Hosagoudra.
When Siddaramaiiah arrived, thousands of supporters welcomed him with the slogan.
The people of the people accompanied him to the venue in the procession.
Hosagoudra also presented Siddaramaiiah his photo in a gold plated frame.
The frame is said to have been made in Bangkok using 40grams of yellow metals.
After inaugurating Bhavan, Siddaramaiiah hopes to just marry a mass wedding ceremony.
Traminating the meeting, Siddaramaiiah said he was blessed by the Badami people.
“I’m proud to say that I am a follower of Basavanna,” he said.
