Prasagraj: A team of firefighters on Friday was saved by nine lives after a large fire broke out in the apartment of Sangam Link, Bhaghambari Gaddi with a georgetown policy limit.
Chief Fire Officer (Prayagraj) RK Pandey told the Toi that the fire broke out in a flat on the fourth floor of the apartment due to severe short circuit and property worth RS2 Lakh.
He added, “After being upgraded over the fire, the firefighting team together with two firetenders flowed and managed to control the fire.
He also claimed that the fixed fire extinguisher system installed in the apartment helped FiroFFicial to control the fire before it could spread to other flats.
Firefighters succeeded Save nine people including four children from the fourth floor.
