Prayagraj: A young man was arrested on Saturday to flash a gun at SP candidate from the assembly chair of Kunda Gulshan Yadav while he would submit a nomination for the assembly poll.
Opposing strict security settings, Singh approached Yadav and flashed the gun at him.
The police acted quickly and arrested the young man.
A police video that took young people became viral on social media because the people in the background were heard shouting that he threatened Yadav with a gun.
According to the police, the defendant, Ashun Singh (Jordan), was a resident of Mira Bhawan.
When contacted, Pro SP Pratapgrah said, “The police were investigating the incident.” The report said Yadav had approached the Pratapgrah police to submit FIR.
