Rajkot: Four people died of Covid-19 and 1,213 new cases registered in the Rajkot district on Friday.
Of the 1,213 new infections, 958 has been tested positively in the city of Rajkot which is less than Thursday 1.008.
A total of 7,423 people are in the current treatment in the city.
In Jamnagar, 269 new Covid-19 cases were reported in addition to one death.
Likewise, in Bhavnagar, 208 people were tested positive while three were killed during treatment.
“The number of cases declined now but in the last two weeks the case was higher and therefore, we witnessed higher mortality.
High mortality among senior citizens and people with comorbidity.
Those who are fully vaccinated are less risky,” said Dr.
Niraj Mehta , MD, breathing drugs.
